Apple Farms is dedicated to breeding "Great American Saddlebreds". This
dedication can be seen in the selection process for our broodmares and
sires. Our bloodlines are full of the "New Yorker" lineage. This line of
horses has proven to be some of the most potent Saddlebred producers
ever.
This careful planning before breeding insures that foals
will start with impeccable pedigrees at birth. After birth, all our
foals are imprinted during the first minutes of their life. We follow
this up with light daily handling until weaning. This quality of contact
between human and horse carries over into their adult life, developing a
foal that has a natural bond with human beings.
The combination
of our breeding and early training produces breathtaking Saddlebreds
that are not only beautiful and athletic but also very sensible
throughout their adult life.
